As a child, I was a notorious for selling "stickers" in the first grade, cheap marker drawings on masking tape that I cut. I even made "stationery" sets by drawing on bond paper, steeping it in tea-water and drying it flat. Flowers, butterflies, fairies - I catered to a demanding clientèle who kept me on my toes.
My subjects and market sure have expanded since then, but I will always be that little girl who pushes her style and creativity with passion. And even though illustration will always be my first love, it now shares a special spot in my heart with photography.
